There were three boys, including Chase Chavez, in the defendants vehicle on July 4, 2019. Jordan Hutchinson and Dakota Silas. There were also three boys in the "victims" vehicle, Logan Flitcraft, Justus Ford, and Tyler Henne.

One of the witness gave a description of who they thought to be Chase, but actually described Dakota Silas.

Chase Chavez and Jordan Hutchinson were arrested and charged with three counts of Attempted First Degree Murder. The third guy, Dakota Silas, was in the vehicle with them was never a suspect in the case although he lied in his first statement, giving a false name to the investigator and also conflicting answers about important details in the incident.

The alleged victims claimed to be bleeding profusely, no blood was found anywhere.

The victims refused EMS.

The alleged victims refused to stop for the 911 dispatcher to dispatch an officer to their location. Saying they would not stop until they saw Stan Driskoll, Tyler Henne's step-father, who just happens to be a Panama City Beach Police Officer. Stan Driskoll met them at a gas station and he looked through their Truck and told them that the incident occured in Bay County Sherrif's Office jurisdiction and they would be who would handle the case. During depositions, Logan and Justus both denied knowing who the cop was that they met at the gas station. And Stan Driskoll never made a report on meeting with his step-son and their friends that night before directing them to Bay County Sheriff's Officers. Bay County Sheriff's Officer made not of the boys meeting with an officer from the beach but never followed up with Driskoll to get a statement from him.

Witness says he saw the "victims" truck follow Chase and Jordan when they left the median. Also says the passenger in Jordan's truck got out screaming, "he's not worth the time" when they were at the median and so Jordan left but Logan followed him. Multiple cars were chasing after the jeep that Chase and Jordan were  in.

Fingerprints from the guns were never entered into evidence and during trial the arresting officer said there wasn't enough time. Ironically, Dakota's name was the only name on the guns when they were presented as evidence at trial and beside his name was the word SUSPECT.

The alleged victims called 911, there were four 911 calls made but somehow, when records of the calls were requested by Public Records, we were told that two of them were recorded over.
